A GIFT FOR ALL OF US

1 Timothy 4:14

"Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you." ESV

God's Word says we all have spiritual gifts. These gifts are irrevocable, they cannot be recalled. We don't need to spend time and energy trying to figure out what our own special gift is. If we abide in His Word and listen for His voice, our gifts will flow out naturally. The important thing is not leaving our gifts idle. We use them and nurture them so that we will be fruitful for His kingdom.

Heavenly Father, we thank you that you give gifts to all of us to use for You. Give us a deep desire to stay close to You so that our gifts will flow from us whenever You want them to do so. Keep us from hiding our gifts and failing to use them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
