FINGER POINTING PROHIBITED

Titus 3:3

"For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another." ESV

Rather than looking at the faults of others, it is in our best interest to remember where we were when the Lord rescued us. We thought we knew everything, but we were totally ignorant. We knew that what we were doing was not right, but we wanted to satisfy our own desires. It made us angry when someone pointed out that we needed to change. If we remember all that, we will look on those who are still there and pray for them, not judge them.

Heavenly Father, bring to our minds that we were in a terribly depraved state before You rescued us. Fill us with Your love and the urgency to pray for those who are still imprisoned there so that we won't judge them. In Jesus' name, Amen.
