everything beautiful in its time....." NIV

made every thing beautiful in his time...." KJV
It's very
difficult for us to see that everything has beauty in it. Sometimes the way our
lives go, it seems that any beauty is non-existent. But when we look at the
caterpillar locking itself within a tiny cocoon for a period of time, we wonder
what beauty could there be in that. In time, the cocoon begins to crack and
open. There is a traumatic struggle that seems nothing but death could possibly
result. Where's the beauty in that? But, finally, there emerges the most
beautiful butterfly that spreads it's wings and flutters through the air with
graceful freedom. There's the beauty! If we begin to think of our own struggles
as part of the process to God's beauty, we will have hope.
Heavenly Father,
forgive us for becoming discouraged when things just don't seem to go right.
Fill our hearts and minds with the understanding that everything is beautiful in
Your time. Help us rejoice that things will work out for our good and Your
glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
