GOOD TREES, GOOD FRUIT

Luke 6:43

"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit."NIV

"For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring for good fruit."KJV

We may be able to convince others that we are dedicated Christians, loving the Lord, but there will be a time when our actions will show that we are nothing more than a bad tree bearing bad fruit. Our testimony is best communicated when we talk less and live the life our Lord commanded us to live. We will always be known by the fruit we bear.

Heavenly Father, we need You to help us live lives that are consistent with Your Word and what we truly believe. Our natural desires get in the way at times and we produce fruit that is not pleasing to You and tells others we are not true Christians. Help us be consistent in bearing good fruit and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
