GOOD CONDUCT ALWAYS

Philippians 1:27

"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ." NIV

"That whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel." KJV

If we believe we can blame our ungodly behaviors on the terrible circumstances we're in, we are mistaken. We are given the mandate as well as the ability to behave consistently with the good news of Jesus Christ. No matter what situation we find ourselves, we are to live and respond in Godly ways.

Heavenly Father, we ask your forgiveness for failing to take personal responsibility for our wrong doings. Help us, Lord, to always make ourselves accountable to you and live in unity with you. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Amen Bobbie. So many times Christians think that they can justify their actions by the circumstances that they find themselves in.... Not true. Thank you so much for this message. God bless, Lloyd

Amen and Ohme. I have to confess that there have been times. The Lord knows it and most of all I know it. Never been good in overwhelming circumstances. Yet everyone who knows me tells me that I am a strong person. I must put on a good show, because I never feel that strong in hard times.
