FAITH WITHOUT THE FACTS

Hebrews 11:8

"By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he
would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and
went, even though he did not know where he was
going." (NIV)

"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a
place which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he
went." (KJV)

If we are obeying and walking ahead by faith, we have
no reason to worry about the journey, knowing we will
get to our destination. Our faith is in God and His promise.
The journey does not need to be of concern to us, nor do
we need to know the details of the journey. All we need
is to know our God and trust that He will accomplish in
us and for us what He has promised. Our obedience in
our walk reveals the level of our faith.

Heavenly Father, we can't thank you enough that You
are always faithful to Your Word and we don't have to
worry about how You will accomplish Your will in our
lives. Help us, Lord, to trust You fully even if we don't
understand what You are doing or where You are taking
us. We ask in Jesus' name. Amen.

Good lesson and a good prayer. Hard, though, isn't it?
