DEAD OR ALIVE

When we have been made alive in Christ, the things
of this world no longer have the same hold on us. We
are no longer drawn to the same things that we were
drawn to before. It is like we have died to the world
of sin and self-serving. We have been born into the
life of unhindered communion with God our Creator
and we live in his presence now and forever.

Heavenly Father, we want to give you praise, honor,
and glory for rescuing us from the chains in which this
world wrapped us. We thank you for setting us free to
live lives of peace and joy in your kingdom. In Jesus'
name.

Read Romans 6:10

"In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but
alive to God in Christ Jesus." (NIV)

"For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that
he liveth, he liveth unto God." (KJV)
