"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better." Ephesians 1:17 (NIV)

WE GROW GOD PROVIDES

Most of us are familiar with the scripture about the lilies
of the field and the birds of the air not worrying. We can
argue by saying that they are surviving by instinct, that
natural inclination to follow the laws of survival and
continuation of the life cycle. Actually, when we put our
total faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, all we have to do is
follow the Holy Spirit that always leads us toward life,
growth, and contentment. Like the lilies of the field, all
we need to do is take root in Christ and grow where we
are planted.

Heavenly Father, we confess that we worry about the
things of this world that affect our lives. We fail to put
our total faith and trust in You. Help us, Lord, to look at
the birds and the flowers and remember that You are
taking care of us as we put our faith in You. Help us to
grow where You have planted us. In Jesus' name.

Read Matthew 6:30

"If that is how God clothed the grass of the field, which is
here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not
much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" (NIV)

"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which
to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not
much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" (KJV)
