HUNGER AND THIRST

Do we have a deep, urgent craving to be right with
God? Do we realize that we need daily, fresh supplies
from Him, much like we need food and water on a regular
basis in order to live? If we understand this daily spiritual
need, we will not only have what we so deeply desire and
long to possess, but we will have it in abundance and
fullness.

Read Matthew 5:6

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled." (NIV)

"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after
righteousness: for they shall be filled." (KJV)

What an excellent reminder! One thing I have learned is that if you don't hunger for God, all it takes is to start feeding yourself God's Word and spending time in His presence and you will begin to hunger for Him. "Your desire follows your attention."

I also want to let you know that I had an award to give out, and I passed it on to you.

Thank you for following my blog, and for your nice comments. :)
