Those who hear and obey God's voice are His sheep. Those who hear
His voice, but do not follow Him and those who neither hear nor follow
are not His sheep. How do we hear His voice? By constantly abiding in
His presence, walking in His Spirit, reading and studying His Word, and
maintaining prayer, praise, and meditation with Him. Then we will know
His voice, He will know us, and we will follow Him. He will guard us and
we will have His gift of eternal life.
Read John 10:27,28
"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give
them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them
out of my hand." (NIV)
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I
give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall
any man pluck them out of my hand." (KJV)
